A little about Melissa Richards

Melissa Richards is the first Administrative Services Manager (ASM) for the Neutron Sciences Directorate (NScD) and the Neutron Upgrades Project Office (NUPO). She is an experienced administrative professional with over 20 years of professional office, customer service, and management experience. She works to ensure effective and efficient administrative support for the NScD’s and NUPO’s sections and associated groups by balancing administrative assistants’ workloads, training the administrative staff, seeking professional development opportunities for them, providing coaching, and mentoring and managing directorate administrative functions overall.
