A little about Emily Carlisle

Emily Carlisle is Management Analyst at U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). She holds a Master degree of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. Emily Carlisle is Member of the HHS/Office of the Secretary/Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources/Office of Grants/Division of Workforce Development (DWD) staff whose mission it is to promote and develop formal training and innovative strategies to provide career development, training, and oversight support to the HHS grants management community. Emily evaluates the effectiveness of training courses and participant feedback to determine needed change, she leads business process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of DWD and develops guidelines, instructions, and procedures for administrative and program management requirements. Emily also crafts assessment framework and grading policy for DWD, serves as DWD communications lead to ensure streamlined, coherent messaging and creates the marketing strategy for the grants applicant community throughout the United States.
